Cultural Protocols (CPs)
Cultural Protocols provide the definitive cultural background for a nation. These define the ethnic, religious, and linguistic makeup that players are obligated to respect.
- Enforcement: Protocols are enforced by the moderation team. Players in "Culturally Protected" nations must adhere to these definitions.
- Revocation: Continuous violation of a Cultural Protocol after warnings from the mod team can result in your control role being revoked.
- Reporting: Players can report protocol violations [HERE].
Managing Protocols
How to get a Cultural Protocol?
Cultural Protocols can be implemented or updated by requesting Mod approval [HERE].
- Review Period: Requests are reviewed by Mods and left open for 48 hours for community objections.
- Key Factors: The team considers previously established Roleplay (Continuity), the quality of Roleplay legitimizing the change, and general realism.
What to write in a Proposal?
Proposals should reflect the actual RP conducted within the nation. They should not significantly alter the established ethnic, religious, or linguistic composition without considerable justification.
- Preservation: Protocols cannot contravene long-standing or historically significant cultural groups within a nation.
- Clarity: To keep the game accessible, you must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for every group mentioned.
Example: "Dundorfian = German"
